This, VOL.1, hits you from the off with 50,000 watts of funking Hip Hop power from turntablist and producer DJ Grazzhoppa. As one of the best, true hip hop DJs of his generation, the Belgium-born Grazz was European DMC Champion in ‘91, Belgium Champion I.T.F. in ’98 and came third in the I.T.F. World Championships in ‘98. He’s opened for the likes of Gangstarr, Jeru the Damager and The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy. He has also worked with artists such as UK legend Blade, Tony Vegas (Scratch Perverts), MF Grimm and your favourite rapper’s favourite rapper, MF DOOM. Simply put, Grazzhoppa is a grandmaster, and Electrum is an opus that absolutely defines this mixtape series.
